The ANU Ally Network presents our Local Area Allies (LAAs).
Local Area Allies are your closest Network members that can be additional support for LGBTQIA+ staff or students in your local areas of the university.
What LAAs can help with:
- Questions around gender and sexual diversity in your local areas
- Peer-member drop-in support for queer identifying students and staff
- Support to navigate local area and university systems and services
- Become a casual Ally Training trainer with the RRU
- Network admin and event support
- Newsletter contributions
What LAAs cannot help with:
- Expert advice on sexuality or gender
- Professional counselling
- 24 hour availability
- Legal or medical advice
